About Me
Hello, my name is Emily. I am a fifth-year (co-op) student studying Industrial Engineering at Georgia Tech. My specialization is in Economic Design Analysis which emphasizes economic and financial modeling. I will be graduating in May 2010 with a BS in Industrial Engineering and a Cooperative Plan designation. As a co-op student I have four semesters of work experience with the Power Supply department at GDS Associates, Inc. (an engineering consulting firm) and one semester experience with The Walt Disney Company as a Labor Analyst Professional Intern. This fall, I’m taking Senior Design, and researching potential career paths. My senior design project is a Warehouse Design project for a local manufacturer. Outside academics I love playing the piano, jazzercise-ing (I hope to own my own franchise one day!), and travelling. I spent a spring studying abroad in Hong Kong and can’t wait to see Europe next.
